Τραγούδι Joan Baez Women are at the forefront of the battle for human rights. Not only for basic bread, but for those "little extras" like an education, the right to vote, a decent place to live and work, equal pay, and healthcare. The photos, courtesy of the U.S. Library of Congress, powerfully illustrate the 1911 poem, "Bread & Roses", by James Oppenhiem. The poem was later set to music in 1976 by Mimi Farina (Baez) and is being sung by the duet RnA
